Empowers Kids For Earth Day With Neighborhood Trash Pick Up, Book Exchange and 
Book Donation Drive April 16-20.


Earth Day (April 20) is about generations coming together to support the planet and to share resources. To mark the annual observance and continue their mission to encourage a green family environment, We are honoring the day by inviting local parents and children to take part in a gently used book donation drive for the Monrovia library from April 16-20, leading a neighborhood trash pick up and book exchange on Saturday, April 20.

Diggin For Daisies is a “green” kids boutique focusing on environmentally conscious products and thinking and was voted 2013’s Best Eco-friendly Family Store and Best Resale Kid’s Store by Macaroni Kid and won the Readers Choice Award from The Arcadia weekly. Diggin for Daisies carries new wood and bamboo toys, books, cloth diapers and other eco-friendly accessories and has an “up-cycle” (pre-loved) “Wear and Share” program for children’s clothing ages 0-6.

Book donation drive for our beloved Monrovia Library

Bring your out-grown books to Diggin for Daisies starting Tuesday 4/16 thru Saturday 4/20th ,  The exchange will take place on Saturday 4/20. The books that are left over will be donated to the Monrovia Library.


Saturday, April 20 Trash pickup- Gather the family and let’s do something GREAT together…

10:00 am – 11:00 am - Neighborhood Trash Pick Up

We will be meeting at Diggin for Daisies at 10am, then will go around the neighborhood to pick up trash. Followed by refreshments and a book exchange.

12:00 pm – 5:00 pm – Book Exchange

Teaching our children how to be purposeful is something we can all do in small ways as parents – helping our kids learn about how to make our neighborhoods and our world a better place. This store is a small contribution to preserving our planet for all the tiny people - who will become big people - doing wonderful things… oh what will they be?

Tuesday thru Thursday    |   12:00p.m. to 5:00p.m.

Friday     |   1:00p.m. to 9:00p.m.

Saturday     |   12:00p.m. to 6:00p.m.

Closed Sunday and Monday (Unless you can only come by on those days and need the prefect eco friendly item - call me!!)
